This week: update announcement Hanse Cup

For the Hanse Cup in Rostock, counting for the Golden Sun Award, some changes are made in the announcement. The qualifying time for entering the competition is taken out. Also a clarification is given how to make reservations for the hot-lunch from friday to sunday. And a clarification is given on the start-procedure and false starts.

This week: Change in StarClass Program

Unfortunately the Ice Rink of Torino is not available for holding the StarClass competition on 31 januari-2 February 2025. Alternatives are under investigation at the moment. We request possible attendants to wait with booking hotels and flight-tickets untill we have more information. Click for the latest news on the logo of the StarClass series left of this page.

This week: Golden Sun Award - Silver M for Masters
We wish all skaters a good season with the Golden Sun Award
9 September 2024 -
In the season 2024-2025 for the 17th year in succession the Overall Classification for the Golden Sun Award and Silver M for Masters will be held.
New competition in the series is this year the Lara van Ruijven memorial, which is held 20-22 september 2024 in The Hague.
The other competitions for the Golden Sun Award and Silver M are the Hanse Cup in Rostock 11-13 October 2024, the Speculaas Cup in Hasselt 15-16 February 2025 and the Easter Tournement in Gent 19-20 April 2025.
These four strong competitions in a laegue together give very good oportunities for skaters of every age categorie, including Masters to have a well balanced competition season.
In the Overall classification price-certificates will be awarded to the best skaters who skated in all 4 competitions!

PB-Event: for Sport and Events

PB-Event is a Dutch company that is specialized in Sound, Telecommunication and Timing equipment. They are also Producers for big and small sport events. Moreover, they have worked for many years in Short Track Speed Skating.
PB-Event is doing jobs all over the world. They have worked for the Grand Prix Track & Field in Mexico, the Grand Prix Thales FBK Games in the Netherlands and for the Grand Prix Track & Field of Shanghai as well. In the Netherlands they supply the technical equipment for many (sport) events. Contracted by the Rabobank cycling team, they have gone for a many years to the Tour de France. Their Telecommunication equipment has been used at the Olympic Games of Salt Lake City and also at the Olympic Games of Torino.
