Ventspils: 500 meter for John Eley

19 January 2008   -   John Eley (GBR) is the winner of the 500 meter at the second day of the European Championships in Ventspils (LAT). In a fast and straight race he took with a great pass, in the last lap the lead and showed perfect sprinting. Nicola Rodigari (ITA) tried to do his utmost best but had to accept the 2nd place. Tyson Hueng (GER) became 3rd and Bartosz Konopko, who was laeding the race for a long time, became 4th.
