Nottingham: Junior British Open

- Over a 80 short track skaters came during the Christmas holidays to Nottingham for the Open British Championships for juniors. On the impressive ice rink of Nottingham the competition was held as an all-finals system, but with some age categories combined together. As every age-category got its own super final it was also possible to calculate for every category its own overall classification. Winners of the several age-categories were Ian Upcott, Alex Whelbourne, Maarten Slembrouck, Elise Christie, Jack Whelborne, Mathilde De Cleer, Mathias Vosté, Brenda Herder, Jens Almey and Danielle Khan.
