Worldrecord for McFarlane on 500 meter

27 October 2009   -   Liam McFarlane beated the Worldrecord on the 500 meter. During the Oktoberfest competition which was held in Canada from 9-11 October he stopped the timing-system on a time of 40.572 and demolished the current world record.
   
    The 3 fastest skaters in the world of short track, based on the official 500 meter times, are now: Liam McFarlane: 40.572, Cory Rasmussen: 40.740 and Wim De Deyne: 40.930.
