Successfull Speciallympics in Utrecht

16 October 2013   -   On the 23rd of November for the first time in the Netherlands a National Short Track Event for skaters with intellectual disabilities was held. More than 80 skaters from 12 clubs in the age of 8 until 67 came to Utrecht and took part at a wonderful competition over several distances. About 55 volunteers of SV Utrecht, Special Olympics Netherlands and the KNSB supported this event. It was an opportunity for the skaters to show their physical fitness, demonstrate their courage and experience joy in competing in a great sport.
