European Youth Olympic Festival - Pontebbe

22 January 2023   -   From 21-28 January 2023 the 16th edition of the European Youth Olympic Festival is held in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Austria and Slovenia. More then 2300 athletes, in the age of 14-18 years, from 47 European countries are attending this Olympic event. 14 wintersports are on the program with among them shorttrack.
   
    On the first competition day the 1500m was held. Hanna Mazur (POL) won with the Women and Dominik Major (HUN) with the Men. In the heats of the Mixed Gender Relay the teams of Hungary, Germany, Poland, Turkeye, Netherlands and Italy qualified for the semi-finals.
