This week: In memoriam Beppe Villa

8 April 2026   -   Today we received the sad news that Beppe Villa has passed away.
   
    By live Beppe has been for more then 20 years the President of Sport Evolution Bergamo (ITA). This club has been and is very active in the world of Shorttrack Speed Skating.
   
    Many times Beppe and his club organized the StarClass competitions and also last year he was the organizer of the European Shorttrack Conference, the meeting in which the European Shorttrack Calendar is made.
   
    Our condolences go to his family, the members of Skating Bergamo and all his shorttrack friends. We will remember him as a great supporter of Shorttrack speedskating.
