This week: In memoriam Karel Verbeek (NED)

9 June 2026   -   On the 5th of june Karel Verbeek (NED) passed away. By live he has been the co-writer of the famous skating statistical yearbook "Schaatsseizoen". Through the years he developped to be the shorttrack specialist into the editorial team and published over a period of almost 50 years about shorttrack from all over the world. Besides this he was a member of the Technical Committee Shorttrack of the Netherlands and has been president of the Dutch federation KNSB.
